Designing the Future of Fashion in XR
Welcome to Challenge 02! This challenge focuses on digital fashion within the realm of XR. Your task is to design one outfit using the provided assets. We offer a basic package of 3D assets created in CLO3D, including pants, an A-line dress, and a T-shirt. Your creativity is key to transforming these items into unique looks.
What's the Challenge?
Push the boundaries of digital fashion by designing a unique outfit in XR, adapting and combining the provided 3D assets into a new cohesive ensemble. Your creativity and skills will determine how your digital fashion will look and how it will be experienced, both in AR and VR. With this challenge, we invite you to explore new tools as a designer while learning to apply a smooth workflow from design to presentation experiences within VR.
Deliverables:
- 1 Moodboard PDF with your concept for Challenge 02 The Future of Fashion.
- 1 line up consisting of 3 look fitting to your collection.
- 1 look designed in Clo3D which have been adapted from the received asset files.
- 1 animation render applied to your Future Fashion look (refer to asset package).
How You'll Be Supported?
- All assets will be provided with the challenge.
- If you don't have direct access to CLO3D, you can create a free account for 1 month.
- New episodes of Creative XR Arena Master Class.
- Access to our Discord channel.

How to Get Started:
- Download the 3D project files from CLO3D provided for this project.
- Customize the design in CLO3D/Marvelous Designer.
- Implement the provided animations on your designed look.
- Optimize your UV files and bake them.
- Export the GLB, FBX, and animation of your customized 3D garments. (Ensure that the animations last a maximum of 15 seconds, as indicated in the asset files.)
- Upload a video of the animated files, along with the 3D assets of the outfit, both together and separately. Also, include your mood board and collection lineup.
